Uses of Geftinat 250 mg
Geftinat 250 mg is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer. Geftinat 250 mg blocks the protein called Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) which is involved in the growth of cancer cells and it does not allow spreading them.

Geftinat 250mg tablet should be used according to the dosage and duration advised by your doctor. If you had any other lung problems tell your doctor before hand because sometimes it may become worse when using Geftinat tablet.
Geftinat 250 mg side effects
Some of the side effects of Geftinat 250 mg that may cause during the usage of this tablet are Diarrhoea, Skin reactions like rashness which is sometimes itchy and dry skin. Increase in liver enzyme called alanine amino transferees in blood test, Vomiting, Loss of appetite, dry or sore mouth, Nausea and Weakness. Avoid using the Geftinat 250mg tablet during pregnancy as it has more risks than benefits. And let your doctor know if you are using these medicines Carbamazepine or Phenytoin (for epilepsy), Itraconazole (for fungal infections), Warfarin (to prevent blood clots), Rifampicin (for tuberculosis), proton-pump inhibitors, H2 antagonists and antacids (for indigestion, ulcer, heartburn and to reduce acids in the stomach) and few more.
